These are views from behind and in front of our Isaacs-Kidd trawl, which is being towed across the surface of the ocean. We are trying to collect young swordfish that live close to the surface during daylight. All young swordfish we collect will be examined by scientists back on land who are conducting many different studies to better understand swordfish.
