We are working around the clock on this trip. This picture shows a night-time deployment of the CTD with 12 sample bottles attached. It takes a lot of people power to guide the CTD over the side and keep it from swinging around and crashing into things. It weighs about a thousand pounds and has lots of very expensive electronic sensors on it so the stakes are high.
