Oahu Island (21° 30' N - 158° W) is called the Gathering Place and is home to about 75% of Hawaii's residents.  This island's natural harbors, mild climate, and abundant water sources have destined it to become the commercial and residential hub of the State of Hawaii.  The Oscar Elton Sette is home ported here and many of the crew raise their families here.
