Kaula Island (21° 39' N - 160° 33'  W) is uninhabited, but its shores are frequently visited by fishermen.  It rises 548 feet above the ocean and is said to be the home of the Hawaiian Shark God Kuhaimoana.  The large cave on the NW side of the island (bottom portion of photo above) is called Kahalauaola (Shark Cave).
