Just in from the Ship

TC-99-07 Lobster Assessment
June 6-July 4, 1999

July 3, 1999 After dropping off supplies to Tern Island, terncomp.jpg (31856 bytes)we finished with our lobster trapping (below left) operations on Maro reef and for the last 3 days, have been heading home to Honolulu. The weather has been absolutely fantastic with very little wind and calm seas. We were able to complete all the scientific tasks requested for in this cruise. The ship will be inport from July 4-13 for restocking of supplies and to ready the ship for our next cruise. The crew also will get some well deserved rest and time at home.
